Helsinki, August 2026 — MVision AI today announced that MVision Workspace+®, its AI-powered platform for radiotherapy, has received regulatory approval for clinical use in Japan under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act (PMD Act). This milestone opens the door for Workspace+ across the country.
Workspace+ brings contouring, synthetic imaging, dose prediction, and contour propagation into one secure environment. Clinics can run the four modules — Contour+, Dose+, Image+, and Adapt+ — independently or as a unified suite, allowing teams to adapt the platform to their workflow requirements.
By automating repetitive tasks, Workspace+ enables more efficient radiotherapy preparation workflows and helps reduce manual effort. The platform supports clinicians in confident decision-making while leaving them in full control. It runs as a DICOM service and integrates directly with treatment planning systems and other DICOM-compliant systems.
“Approval in Japan is a significant milestone for Workspace+, opening the door to one of the largest radiotherapy markets in the world,” said Mahmudul Hasan, Founder and CEO of MVision AI. “By bringing key planning capabilities together in a single secure platform, Workspace+ helps clinicians save time and promote consistency. This supports more standardised and reproducible workflows, allowing teams to focus more fully on patient care.”
Workspace+ is distributed in Japan by ITEM Corp, MVision AI’s local distribution partner, supporting the adoption of AI-powered planning workflows across Japanese radiotherapy centres.
This milestone extends MVision AI’s clinical footprint in Asia, while also supporting the broader adoption of AI-powered planning workflows in routine radiotherapy practice across the region.
