In September 1995, the first National Oncology Days organized under the auspices of The Finnish Oncology Society were held in Tampere. In the early years, each year focused on discussing different cancer groups as comprehensively as possible or the most challenging areas of cancer treatment from various perspectives. Later on, the structure and content of the National Oncology Days have been modified several times and in various ways, so there has been no rigid adherence to any particular format. The themes have alternately emphasized the latest innovations in cancer treatment and the usability of established treatment methods, the application of international treatment guidelines and national quality requirements, the hopes and opportunities for different types of cancer treatments, the effectiveness, safety, and side effects of treatments, the interpretation and reliability of studies, as well as more comprehensive reviews of both major cancer groups and rarer cancers.
In the year 2024, The Finnish Oncology Society will be hosting this event for the 29th time. For the MVision AI team, it is always a pleasure to be there. So, meet our experts!
