Have any questions about our product?
Will MVision’s AI application be compatible with my current software?
Yes. We ensure that our cloud-based AI model will integrate seamlessly with existing hospital systems.
How can patient confidentiality be maintained in a cloud-based system?
We will install one piece of software in your hospital that will pseudonymize images prior to transferring them to an external, cloud server for automatic segmentation.
Where has MVision’s product been approved for use?
MVision’s AI prostate model is now CE marked for clinical use in all EU countries. We’re also working towards FDA 510(k) clearance in the United States by late 2019, and clearance in Asia and Australia by early 2020.
Which anatomical sites are supported by MVision’s AI tool?
Currently, MVision’s prostate model is CE marked in the EU and is used in Finland for patient treatment. MVision aims to support all other major cancer sites within a year.
What is deep learning?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is essentially software that allows computers to learn from experience, and deep learning is a key technology that allows AI to function. Deep learning refers to teaching a computer to look at a large set of data, such as a medical image, and make sense of it. Deep learning neural networks can be taught to recognize detailed patterns and relationships in the data and perform specific tasks depending on what the software finds.
Our custom-made deep learning model learned to draw 3D volumetric contours of organs and regions based on data from university hospitals in Finland, Estonia, and Singapore. MVision’s AI algorithm is based on accurate, real-world data, and its performance will only get better as it continues to learn and develop.
